Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrive in Rwanda and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received by a representative from our company who will be your driver guide who will brief you about your trip and transfer you to Ruhengeri to visit the Ibyiwacu cultural village and get to learn more about the people and their culture and have our lunch here. We will engage in some of their cultural dances as they dance and later proceed to the lodge in the evening and check-in for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi, for a briefing about the does and don’ts of the tracking activity and later be assigned rangers in different groups and embark on tracking the gorillas. Once gorillas are sighted, you will spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousins and after embark on your return from the park and proceed to your lodge. After lunch later in the afternoon if you still have the strength taking an evening walk around the park for some scenic view before you embark on your return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 :
Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer back to Kigali
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for yet another briefing about the does and don’ts when tracking the golden monkey after which proceed for the experience. You will spend an hour watch and studying their behavior once you sight them and embark on your transfer back to Kigali with lunch enroute and be dropped off at the airport for your flight to your next destination
