Overview
This trip will start from Kigali in Rwanda where you will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum and later cross to Uganda. You will go gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National park and get face to face with the mountain gorillas, as well you will trek the chimpanzees you will as well have a moment with the Batwa people and get to learn about their culture and also enjoy a game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National park.

Itinerary
In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel or airport by our company representative who will be your driver guide and embark on your transfer to Uganda with a stop at the Kigali genocide memorial site commemorating the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. After your tour of the museum, you will be driven you straight to the Uganda, Rwanda border of Cyanika/Katuna. In the process you will traverse the lush country side dotted with undulating hills that have qualified Rwanda as a land of a thousand hills and arriving in Bwindi in afternoon check in your Lodge. You will later after your lunch at the lodge in case you didn't have it along the way, you will head out to visit the Batwa community and get a chance to know about their livelihood before you embark on your return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and head to the park offices where you will be briefed by the rangers before you begin the search in the thick Bwindi forest for the giant gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent to track down these Gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. Once sighted you will spend an hour with them before you embark on your return to reunite with your driver guide and the transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will reach late evening and check-in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast you will go for a morning game drive in the park where you will see the tree climbing lions lounging in the tree branches while keeping a close eye on herds of Uganda kob, their favorite prey. You could have a chance to spot some tree climbing lions and more animals like the Elephants, buffalos, and many more. You will later have your lunch and in the afternoon you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana.
After breakfast at your lodge, head to Kalinzu forest reserve for the briefing of the rules for trekking the chimpanzees after which you set off to search for the chimpanzees in the forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but informative as well. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will be allowed some time with them to study their behaviour and life style and later you will return to meet with your guide who will embark on your transfer to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator and lunch en-route and be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe depending on your program.
