Itinerary
After an early morning breakfast at you hotel, you will be picked up by our company representative who will be your guide/driver who will brief you about your trip after which you will depart to Murchison Falls National park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the Rhinos and a lunch stopover at Kabalega Dinners near River Kafu. We later proceed to enter the park and visit the magical Murchison falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile as it drops 45 meters below and this can be viewed at different points up to the summit. We later cross the Nile by the ferry, go and check into the service of accommodation at Fort Murchison, dinner and overnight.
After an early morning breakfast, we start our game drive on the Northern sector of the park, in search for wildlife that includes elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, oribis, hart beasts, Kobs, warthogs, lions, jackals, leopards according to the luck of the day and a variety of savannah and woodland birds can be seen. The drive normally takes 3 - 4 hours according to how much you see and the interest you have in them. We drive back to the Lodge, relax for a while, have lunch and then at 2:00pm we go for the boat cruise for yet another but different view of the wildlife from close quarters as they draw down the river bank to cool off. Here you get a chance of seeing many schools of hippos, crocodile, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds. We come back after about 3 hours to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will depart Murchison falls and head for Kibale forest national park, with en-route lunch stopover at Kagadi and driving through the rolling hills and tea plantations of Kabarole. We arrive at Kibale national park in the evening and check in to the service of our accommodation of Kibale Forest lodge, dinner and overnight.
Start the day with some sensational chimpanzee tracking in the heart of the Kibale Forest. The reserve boasts the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa, providing sightings of wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys and the black-and-white colobus monkeys on your guided nature walk. After a hearty lunch, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park arriving in the evening and check in to the service of our lodge, dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, we proceed to the park offices for registration and briefing before starting the highlight of our activities; the Gorilla trekking. Encountering the largest and heaviest primates is an adventurous and memorable activity which can’t be easily erased on your mind. Tracking from Bwindi sometimes involves walking up steep densely forested hills; therefore some fitness may be required. It may take 3-8 hours under muddy and strenuous conditions, sometimes with rain overhead. But all these conditions cease to be a challenge the moment you come face to face with the amazing mountain gorilla. You will later come back to our accommodation, dinner and overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast, you will then check out of your service of accommodation and hit the road to transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en-route with a stopover at the equator for photos and visiting the stoles for African crafts. Where we shall then arrive at Entebbe at around 6pm for your flight to your next destination.
