3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park and Chimp Tracking Safari.

On this 3 day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari you will be able to enjoy game drives both in the morning and evening where we stand chances of seeing some animals that include the lions, Buffaloes, hyenas, Elephants, Antelopes, warthogs, among others and also enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where we stand a chance to see animals like hippos and crocodiles and a great number of birds like the African data, pilled-wag tail, King Fisher, African fish Eagle among other birds. You will also go tracking the chimpanzees in Kalizu forest on this same trip as detailed in our trip plan below.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Pickup from Entebbe/Kampala and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your early breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be picked up by our company representative who will be your driver guide who will brief you about your trip after which travel westwards through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take 6-7 hours with some stopovers at the Equator for an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and lunch en-route. You will continue through the savannah grasslands with lots of banana plantations and several herds of local long horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country. You will get to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening upon arrival check-in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Game drive and boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will set off for a morning game drive, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. Expect to see the Elephants, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds. You will later enjoy your lunch and relax. In the afternoon you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 :
Chimp tracking and transfer back to Entebbe
After your early morning breakfast at your lodge, cheak-out and head to Kalinzu forest for chimp tracking, and chimp tracking takes 3-4hrs after which proceed for your transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en-route arriving in Entebbe late evening and be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your departure flight depending on your schedule.
