This trip basically focuses on spending all you time of the day with the chimpanzees that is from when the day starts as they awake and move in search for food till the day ends when they lay their nests to rest.

Itinerary
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be picked up by a representative from our company who will be your driver guide who will brief you about your trip and then embark on your transfer to Kibale Forest National Park arriving in the afternoon and check-in to your lodge and have some time to relax and have your lunch. Later in the evening you will head out for a walk in the Bigodi Wetland sanctuary. This is a guided swamp walk that takes you closer seeing primates mostly monkeys, birds and butterflies. The wetland is a bird paradise with about 138 species and is best known for being home to the Great Blue Turaco. This is a 2 to 3 hours walk and is a must for bird lovers. You might be able to spot the Sitatunga antelope and the Shoebill Stork. This is nothing to be missed. You will meet some of the primates here, even a chimpanzee at times. Other primate species include the black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Also, Bushbucks and mongooses and many more can also be found here. Dinner and overnight.
After an early morning breakfast which you will at 5am with your packed lunch, you will head for the habituation experience that starts at 6am when the chimpanzees first get up, and lasts until around 7pm when they build new nests and settle down for the night. Throughout the day you see them carry out their day-to-day activities: feeding, hunting, patrolling the area, resting, and caring for the young ones. You will see several primates on your track such as the golden monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, baboons, blue monkeys, white & black colobus monkeys, the grey checked mangabey, pottos and red colobus. Other animals include forest elephants which are a common type, large forest hogs as well as several tree species. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast, embark on our transfer back to Entebbe with our lunch enroute and later be dropped off at the airport later in the afternoon for your flight to your next destination.
